Jim Henson's Labyrinth - In Concert at Lexington Opera House

Jim Henson's Labyrinth - In Concert

There was a time when we all wished to be stolen by a goblin king wearing impossibly tight trousers, and this year that opportunity has finally come! David Bowie will appear once more on the silver screen, backed by a live band as he serenades you about the babe with the power and magic dances, accompanied by a host of Jim Henson's Creature Shop puppets. Don't forget to practice juggling those iconic crystal balls, you don't want to let the Goblin King down as Labryinth in Concert comes to a city near you!

The Avett Brothers at Rupp Arena

The Avett Brothers

The Avett Brothers are a non-traditional bluegrass band that originated in Concord, North Carolina. The two brothers, Seth and Scott, formed the group after the breakup of the former rock band, Nemo, adding a third member, Bob Crawford. Don't miss them live on the road this year as they bring their awesome sound to you!

Boney James at Lexington Opera House

Boney James

In 2009, Billboard Magazine named Boney James the Jazz Musician of the Decade and the tremendously talented saxophonist certainly lives up to that moniker. While seen as a forerunner of the smooth jazz movement, Boney's style of playing combines pop and RnB and his style is often seen as grittier and more textured than the easy-listening genre.

Buena Vista Social Orchestra at Lexington Opera House

Buena Vista Social Orchestra

Jesus "Aguaje" Ramos, original trombonist of the legendary Cuban outfit Buena Vista Social Club, leads an ensemble including three fellow original Club members for a tour of North America this fall! Along with pianist Emilio Senon Morales Ruiz, percussionist "Betun" Luis Mariano Valiente Marin and bassist Fabian Garcia, the famed latin-jazz combination from Havana bring you the music that made the world famous BVSC the biggest selling Cuban band in history.
